Did Manti Te’o Know Or Not?

“Rooting for (Ray) Lewis required nuance; rooting for (Manti) Te’o is easy.” I wrote that sentence at the end of this column two weeks ago. It now reads like a foreign language. Manti Te’o has been forever changed by the revelation that his apparent girlfriend was never real, that her highly publicized death never occurred, […]

Dissident Democrats in the state House of Representatives, long on the outs with Speaker Calvin Say, joined with Republicans to oust Say as speaker and hand the gavel back to Joe Souki of Maui. Some observers said the dissidents were not being loyal to the […]

Top Investment Errors To Avoid

Investing is an important part of your personal finances, and it seems simple: Buy low, sell high and keep the profits! Studies have shown, however, that a chimpanzee throwing darts picks stocks better than the average investor! The average investor in the past 20 years made only 2.4 percent, whereas the S&P500 returned 7.7 percent. […]

DmC Devil May Cry: Strong Storyline

Developed by Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved), Capcom’s much anticipated DmC Devil May Cry released last week. In this version, we see the return of the iconic Dante. He knows he’s not human, but also that he isn’t anything similar to the demons that have tormented him throughout his life. Caught between the worlds, you, […]
