Hoedown For Hope
Supporting the cause to find a cure for cancer, hundreds of Kaua’i residents showed up for the fifth annual Hoedown for Hope, Rope a Cure Paniolo-Style Feb. 23 at Marriott Resort in Lihu’e. Evening highlights included a silent auction, games of skill on Western Main Street, Wahooo’s GetUp Getty Up contest, best-dressed cowboys and cowgirls awards and dancing to the island’s No. 1 kachi-kachi band, Wally Rita and Los Kauaianos.
