The very friendly Latoya Oana was shopping at Times Supermarket last week with her son Tydin (left in photo) and nephew Zennon Alo-Rosa when she was randomly approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i representative, who asked her a simple question. Latoya answered correctly and instantly won a $100 Times shopping spree.

Latoya, wife of Koa Trading Company driver Aaron, with whom she has three children, Tydin (2), Taylin (7) and Kichelle (10), prefers to purchase her vegetables at the Lihu’e grocery store.

Latoya, a Kaua’i High School graduate, lives in Wailua and loves to read MidWeek Kaua’i. She especially likes to see photos of friends and family scattered throughout the pages.

“I just recently found a picture of my son Taylin sand-boarding. He thinks he’s a big celebrity now,” she jokes.
