Hoedown For Hope
It was all about finding a cure and supporting a cause Oct. 1 at the Hoedown for Hope at Kaua’i Marriott Beach Resort. The fundraiser gala carried the theme, “roping a cure, paniolo style,” and featured gourmet western fare, live and silent auctions (including Kaua’i’s own Keahi Tucker auctioning his jacket for $300), and entertainment by vocalists by Melveen Leed and Nohelani Cypriano. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society in its mission to help fellow Kauaians celebrate another birthday.
